Jacqueline King, Psy.D.

Dr. King is a licensed psychologist specializing in comprehensive psychological, neurodivergent-affirming, and forensic assessment. With extensive experience across correctional, hospital, and educational settings, she has conducted hundreds of evaluations addressing diagnostic clarification, cognitive and academic functioning, and mental-health-related legal issues. Her expertise includes autism spectrum and ADHD evaluations, learning disability assessments, giftedness and school-accommodations testing, and psychological evaluations related to criminal responsibility, competency to stand trial, and diversion eligibility.

Dr. King has received specialized post-doctoral training in autism assessment and neurodivergent evaluations, emphasizing collaborative, affirming, and culturally informed practices. She maintains active engagement in continuing education related to neurodevelopmental disorders, psychological testing, and forensic evaluation standards.

Dr. King is currently employed as an Admissions Psychologist for the California Department of State Hospitals, where she conducts diagnostic, risk, and competency evaluations for defendants admitted as Incompetent to Stand Trial (PC 1368/1370). Her prior work includes conducting competency and criminal-responsibility evaluations for the Federal Bureau of Prisons and completing risk and placement assessments for the New York State Hospital System.

Roxanne Rassti, Ph.D.

Dr. Rassti is a licensed forensic psychologist with over a decade of specialized experience and more than 1,500 court-ordered evaluations completed. She has testified in over 400 Board of Parole Hearings (BPH) and Superior Court proceedings throughout California, translating complex clinical findings into clear, decision-relevant opinions. Her forensic work centers on competency to stand trial, restoration of sanity/NGI, Mentally Disordered Offender (PC 2962/2972) matters, mental health diversion (§1001.36), juvenile transfer, Franklin-related resentencing evaluations, and structured violence/sexual-offense risk assessment using tools such as HCR-20 V3, PCL-R, and STATIC-99R. She previously served as a forensic psychologist with the California Department of State Hospitals–Atascadero (DSH-A), conducting high-acuity evaluations and providing frequent expert testimony.

Dr. Rassti is POST-certified and conducts pre-employment psychological evaluations for police and first-responder roles, second-opinion pre-employment evaluations, and fitness-for-duty examinations. Her background also includes critical-incident debriefing and psychoeducational training for law-enforcement departments on resilience, stress, and threat-assessment fundamentals.

Dr. Rassti serves as Adjunct Faculty at California Polytechnic State University - San Luis Obispo, Colorado State University, and Stanford University School of Medicine. She has taught at the undergraduate and graduate levels and has provided supervision in forensic assessment and testimony skills. She coordinated the forensic rotation for the APA-accredited predoctoral psychology internship at DSH-A and the forensic fellowship training between DSH-A and Stanford University. She has also contributed to examination standards as an item writer for the EPPP-2 (ASPPB) and has contributed selected item content for the CPLEE.Dr. Rassti is a member of the American Psychology–Law Society (APA Division 41) and Psychologists in Public Service (APA Division 18).
